It is important to prepare not only your body but also your mental health. You need to focus your mind in the race. Finishing the race is not easy when your not prepared.
Here are some important tips that I prepare every time I run:
- Training is a big part of the preparation. It helps our body survive in the long run. We can jog every morning at the park or even go to gym and run at the treadmill machine for at least 30 mins per day.
- The day before the run, make sure you feel hydrated. Drink lots of water. I always drink 1.5 liter of Gatorade, eat foods that rich in carbohydrates, and multivitamins the day before the run.
- Sleep early. Make sure you have a good sleep.
